Hey, lovely friend!

Welcome and I'm so happy you're here. Through HW, I talk about my life behind the scenes as a go-to nutritionist, and my content is just about as real as it gets online. I've got lots to share, so you should stick around! xo

Welcome to where I spend most of my time, loves! Our kitchen is by far one of my favorite rooms in the house. Between making my own food, cooking for Lacey, and working from the island (I have an office but sometimes I love working here!), I’d say I spend about 60% of my day in this room.

We decided to go with a blue and white theme for the pieces around our gray and white kitchen. We’re actually redesigning portions of the kitchen with Prudence Home + Design, including curtains for the large window and some trinkets here and there, but this was our starting point.

I like each room to feel unique and have its own vibe. Interior design is certainly not my thing, but I try my best! One aspect of design that is always important to me is to have personal photographs throughout the space. You’ll see plenty of photos of Ryan and I around the kitchen to remind us every day of our love and how far we’ve come. I’ve added a few of Lacey as well that didn’t make it in time, but I’ll be doing an updated photoshoot in the coming months!

Here’s a sneak peek, with an official reveal happening later this Summer. I linked to some of the products and places we purchased items below the photos.

Enjoy!

This was one area of the kitchen that we did change after we moved in. It used to be a long desk, and the only oven was under the stove top range. I never used that oven in our old house and wanted a wall oven! So we ripped the desk out and added two wall ovens and a little extra counter space and shelving (that still needs styling!). To save money, we just did a simple white wood top instead of marble - our marble is a PAIN to take care of because it stains all the time. We'll definitely be doing granite when we redo our kitchen down the road!!
