Hey, lovely friend!

Welcome and I'm so happy you're here. Through HW, I talk about my life behind the scenes as a go-to nutritionist, and my content is just about as real as it gets online. I've got lots to share, so you should stick around! xo

Our Newborn Photoshoot

Our Newborn Photoshoot

Happy holidays, dolls! Hope everyone enjoyed their time off with family and loved ones. We hosted both Thanksgiving and Christmas this year, and it was a blast. Actually, we missed Thanksgiving because we were in the hospital with Lacey, but we celebrated the day after!

This month has flown by, and I can't believe we're about to step into a new year. I'm usually so focused on new year goals for my business around this time, and it's crazy to me that I haven't thought about my "goals" or "word of the year" once. I've been so focused on Lacey that I haven't had the time to stop and think about it. I knew this would happen, though, and I've been trying to be patient with myself as I step into this new role as a mom. I know I'll get back into the swing of things when the time is right, but I have to admit that I do miss working and writing to you guys!

I knew I wanted to do a newborn shoot before Lacey was born because those first few weeks are such a special time and I wanted to capture the moments on camera. We did ours a little later than normal (it's best to do this type of shoot within the first 7-10 days because newborns are extra sleepy then) so it was difficult to get Lacey to sleep and get shots with her eyes closed. She's been an alert baby since the day she came home from the hospital, and her shoot day was no exception!

We worked with Courtney Ann Photography, and it was well worth the investment. We'll be using these photos for years to come and I know we'll always cherish the memories!

Here's a few of my favorite shots. Enjoy, and Happy New Year!!
